Obituary of Sharon Georgine Leno

Leno, Sharon Georgine August 7, 1941 ~ January 23, 2021 ~ The simple things in life are the greatest gifts- Bryant McGill ~ Sharon Georgine Leno of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of Ardmore, Alberta passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Sharon will be forever remembered and loved by her children: June Giles of Prince Albert, SK, Peter Leno of Victoria, BC, Cindy Leno of Edmonton, AB; step-children: Marvin (Maria) Straus of Lac La Biche, AB, Laurie (Randy) Dzurka of Edmonton, AB, Kevin (Corlee) Straus of Hinton, AB, Regan Straus of Eckville, AB, Heath (Anne) Straus of Bonnyville, AB; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step- great grandchildren, step- great-great grandchildren; brother: Ron (Donna) Nasadyk of Vernon, BC; as well as numerous other relatives. Sharon was predeceased by her common-law-husband: John Strus in 2011; parents & siblings. Sharon’s family wishes to thank the Hardisty Care Centre nursing staff as well as the administration staff for the exceptional care and friendship that they gave Sharon over the past few years.
