It is with profound sadness that the family of Elizabeth John announces her passing on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 84 years.
Elizabeth will be forever remembered and loved by her children: Frank John, Alice John (Nelson), Roy (Brenda) John, Rodney (Olga) John, Eva (Steven) Gladue, Gordie (Stephanie) John, Vern (Crystal) John, Peter (Dorrie) John, adopted daughter: Pauline Gadwa, Harry (April) Whitford, adopted bingo son: Adrian Canapotatoe, friend: Walter John and the Jacknife, Paradis & George families; siblings: Francis Dumais, Raymond (Joan) Dumais, Rita (Lionel) Nault, Roy (Donna) Dumais, Dorothy (Raymond) Scanie, Yvonne (Victor) John, Jean (Darryl) Applegate, David (Sandy) Dumais, Brian Foreman, Guy Quimpere; adopted sister: Lucy Turzanski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter: Darlene John-Moosewah; adopted son: Harry Moosepayo; grandson: Theoren Poitras; parents: Frank & Mary Dumais; siblings: Jim Dumais, Art Dumais, Cecile Tantentyre, Louise Dumais, Helen Primeau, Joey Quimpere, Violet Gladue & infant sister.
