My sincere sympathies to all the Madro family. I met and got to know Joe at Chateau Vitaline in Beaumont through the pastoral care. On our weekly visits he always had the chairs ready for everyone in the TV room to watch the daily mass. Joe was always cheerful.polite, friendly and such a gentleman. Rest in peace Joe! You will be missed!

It is with great sadness we learn of Joe's passing. Our family was very blessed to know Joe and Millie, as they, for many years hosted and entertained our family at their lakehouse which we are fortunate to own today. They always treated our kids as their own grandchildren and always had special treats and time for them. It pained us to watch Joe's last few years as the important things in his life slowly slipped away; the passing of his dear wife Millie was especially painful to him. We continue to remember the many many stories he shared with us as his family pioneered in the Bonnyville are since 1928. We also continue to appreciate and enjoy the lakehouse he and Mille built and will always remember them.....as Joe always said "I'm a stubborn Pollack"....we all knew it...lol.... but he was a very generous and helpful man.....we will miss his weekly phone calls ! We find comfort in knowing he lived a long eventful life and he is where he wanted to be for the last few years...with Millie! Cheers Joe!

Always enjoyed bumping into Mr Madro in Bonnyville over the years. Was an opportunity to catch up on all his children’s whereabouts and news!! Both Joe and his wife were great community minded people since first met them in 1974!!
