Obituary of Shyla Rae Whitford-Marten

WHITFORD-MARTEN, Shyla Rae

January 22, 1997 – November 3, 2019

On Sunday, November 3, 2019 Miss Shyla Rae Whitford-Martin of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 22 years. Shyla will be forever remembered by her mother; Shelley (Jason) Whitford-Arcand, her father; Roger Marten, siblings; Saige Arcand, Gage Arcand, Tenisha Shingoose-Arcand, Kiana Arcand, Kiyano Arcand, Keyden Arcand, Kerian Badger and Tylee Badger, her maternal grandmother; Margaret Whitford and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Shyla was predeceased by her maternal grandfather; Eddie Whitford, paternal grandparents; Mary Marten and Victor Matchatis and her special baby cousin; Shaine Mary Marten.

Wake: Saturday and Sunday, November 9 & 10, 2019 at the Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall.

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations.
