Obituary of Peter Whitford

Obituary For WHITFORD, Peter March 25, 1927 – January 4, 2010 On Monday, January 4, 2010 Mr. Peter Whitford of Kikino passed away in Lac La Biche at the age of 82. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his children; Clifford Whitford, Clara Quinn (Floyd), Leonard Whitford, Ronnie Whitford (Lorraine) and Vivian Noskey (John), granddaughters; April Berard (Kelly) and Chantel Whitford (Jonathan), grandsons; Dale Berard (Paulette), Jerry Whitford and Clayton Whitford (Tara), 30 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Peter was predeceased by his wife Sara Whitford (2007), sons: Joey (2008) and Lester (1965), daughter: Margaret (1992), granddaughter; Lisa (2007), grandson; Lawrence (2009), brother; Steve (2008) and sister Bertha Cardinal (1968). A wake was held on Thursday and Friday, January 7 & 8, 2010 at the Kikino Community Hall. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kikino Community Hall with pastor Cynthia Fuller officiating. Interment followed in the Kikino Community Cemetery with honourary pallbearers; Jim & Linda White, Nancy Shell, Joe Cardinal, MaryAnn Gladue, Sheryl McGilvary, Evelyn Favel, Mary Houle, Michelle Houle, Sophie Houle, Paulette Whitford, Joe Berard, Floyd & Marcella, Brian & Tiffany, Nurse Lavern and all of his bingo buddies. Active pallbearers were; John Jr. Noskey, Dale Berard, Darren Whitford, Donny Whitford, Joey Jr. Whitford, Leonard Jr. Whitford, Jerry Whitford and Clayton Whitford.
