Obituary of Rosalie Anne Lee desjarlais

On Thursday October 1, 2009 Rosalie Anne (Lee) Desjarlais of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 58 years. Rosalie will be sadly missed by her husband: Walter Desjarlais; son: Kelvin (Jessica) Desjarlais; grandchildren: Cain Ashcroft, Nathaniel Desjarlais, Martina Desjarlais, Colt Desjarlais; sisters: Laura & Archie Collins, Barbara & Allan Wells, Leona & Wayne Marquis, Evelyn & Robert Gamache, Val & Tracy Lagimodiere; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosalie Desjarlais was predeceased by her daughter: Angela; brother: Kelvin; parents: Patrick & Adeline Swan; & sister in law: Madeline Heath. A Prayer Vigil was held Saturday & Sunday October 3 & 4, 2009 at Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Hall. A Funeral Service was held Monday October 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Elizabeth Metis Settlement Community Hall with Bishop Luc Bouchard & Father Rene Realuyo as celebrants. Interment followed in the Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Wesley Collins, Jeff Wells, Robert Jr. Gamache, Cory Whiskeyjack, Mike Desjarlais, Lyle Nydokus. Honorary Pallbearers were: Joanne Desjarlais, Georgina Tourangeu, Isabelle Swan, Marie Swan, Hervina Angus, Jo-Anne Sehn, Rose Marie Breaker, Aldina Piche, Sister Mary, Caroline Hunter, Kathy Lepine.
