Francis Piche October 10, 1937 – June 8, 2009

On Monday, June 8, 2009 Mr. Francis Piche of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 71 years. Francis will be sadly missed by his children: Casey Piche, Clifford Piche, Carol Piche-Cardinal (Mike), Colin Piche, Cecilia Piche (Doug), Charlene Piche and Jessica Grandbois (Trevor) all of Cold Lake First Nations. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings Arthur Piche, Lawrence (Doreen) Piche, Roy (Pricilla) Piche, Ivan Piche and Roland (Rhonda) Piche, numerous half brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Predeceased by his wife: Doris Piche; son: Carmen Piche; parents: Eugene & Annie Piche.

A prayer vigil was held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Piche residence, Cold Lake First Nations and Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Cold Lake Frist Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Parish, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery with honourary pallbearers, all who loved him, his family, relatives and friends, cursillistas friends and handgame players. Pallbearers were Nathan Piche, Shane Piche, Jordan Piche, Shawn Piche, Robin Piche and Sheldon Piche
