On Thursday, August 10, 2023, Edward Solowoniuk of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away at the age of 80 years.

Edward will be forever remembered and loved by his son: Shane Solowoniuk; daughter: Marcy (Russell) Doonanco; grandchildren: Melissa (Nick) Smith, Janessa (Collin) Jefferson; great granddaughters: Lily Smith, Kori Smith; great grandson: Wyatt Jefferson; sisters: Ann McKoryk, Joanell Alden, Vera (Ed) Mercier; sisters-in-law: Mary Solowoniuk, Maryann (John) Szydlik, Yvonne (Cliff) Seibel; brother-in-law: Larry (Ali) Palsat; as well as many other relatives & friends.

Edward was predeceased by his wife: Linda Solowoniuk; son: Darrell Solowoniuk; parents: John & Bernice Solowoniuk; brothers: Nick Solowoniuk, Walter (Mildred) Solowoniuk; sister: Mary (Willie) Bellamy; brother-in-law: Mike McKoryk; mother & father-in-law: Bruins & Fay Palsat; special friend: Stella Marcotte.

A Celebration of Edward’s life will take place at a later date.
