Obituary of Archie Collins

March 12, 1946 ~ August 1, 2023

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Archie Collins announces his passing at the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

Archie will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 50 years: Laura Collins; children: Wesley (Bev) Collins, Sheila (Loren) Thompson, Crystal (Tony) Demmons; beloved grandchildren: Lyndon, Faith, Dominic, Maria, Marcus, Marley, Marcie, Kestyn, Katrina, Kariss, Kloee, Alex; cherished great grandchildren: Carter, Isabelle, Gunner-Lee, Secora; sisters: Mary Wells, Vi Collins, Irene Collins; as well as numerous other relatives & many friends.

Archie was predeceased by his parents: Albert & Mary Collins; siblings: Clarence Collins, August Collins, Lloyd Collins, Edward Collins, (infant) William Collins.

Wake, Saturday, August 5 (leaving Bonnyville at 6 p.m.) & Sunday, August 6, 2023, Elizabeth Settlement Hall, Elizabeth Métis Settlement.

Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, August 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic Church, Elizabeth Métis Settlement with interment to follow at Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
