On Saturday, June 21, 2014 Ms Angela Janvier of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at home with her family by her side at the age of 96 years. Angela will be lovingly remembered by her children; Bernadette Janvier, Alice (Cliff) Jacknife, Christine Janvier, Dorothy Janvier, Margaret Janvier, Freda Janvier, Dale (Gail) Janvier and Gary Ennow, 23 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren and her sister; Ms. Evangeline Janvier. Angela was predeceased by her husband: Hilaire Janvier, children: Francis Janvier, Josephine Metchewais, Michael Janvier, Alice Janvier, Evangeline Charland,
Roseanne Janvier, Albertine Janvier and Leslie Janvier, 2 grandchildren and her brother: Dave Martial.
A wake was held on Thursday and Friday, June 26 and 27, 2014 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
