Ms. Tanya Lynn Stanley of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan at the age of 44 years.

Tanya leaves behind four beloved children: Taitlynn Stanley, Telan Starchief (Honey), Kingston Starchief, and David Jr. Starchief. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Hazen and Helena, who brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her siblings: Trena Stanley (Tyronne), Teddy Stanley, Trevor Stanley (Mallory), Hazel Moosomin, Phyllis Moosomin, Felicitia Moosomin, Laura Moosomin, Elizabeth Moosomin, and Quincey Moosomin. Tanya held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews: Ian, Isaiah, Tyris, Lahlayah, Lemyiah, Lemirrah, and Leland. She also shared deep bonds with her special cousins: Kaleen, Melody, Toni, and Chaydin. Tanya cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, and she found peace and happiness in the outdoors. Her warmth, strength, and love for family will be remembered always.

She was predeceased by her parents, Geraldine Stanley and Alexander Sr. Moosomin (Benson); her siblings Richard, Ernest, Alex Jr., Doris, Juliette, and Adrienne Moosomin; her maternal grandparents, Eliza Stanley and Charlie Paddy; and her paternal grandparents, Emma Fineday and William Benson.
