It is with profound sadness that the family of Jasmine Morin of Ermineskin Cree Nation announces her unexpected passing on Tuesday, Aug 26, 2025 at the age of 29 years.

Jasmine is lovingly survived by her son: Jarren Cardinal; parents: Sammy John & Delores Morin; 7 siblings: Charles Morin, Eldon Morin, Trent Saddleback, Samantha John, Robin Morin, Cheryl Roasting, Perry Mountain; special friend: Conrad Moochweines; 8 aunts: Marcella (Brian), Colleen (Brian), Lorna (David), Marian John, Ezra Bergsma, Daisy John, Melva John, Ambie John; 2 uncles: Ardel (Gloria), Melvin (Rosa); 12 nieces & nephews: Violet Morin-Crane, Scarlett Crane-Morin, Blake Crane, Vaedra Morin, Tayla Youngchief, Keilani Roasting, Milani Roasting, Tayce Morin, Taylor Youngchief, Robin Morin Jr., Carson Roasting, Tryson Roasting.

Jasmine was predeceased by her maternal grandparents: Theresa & Simon Morin; paternal grandparents: George & Julia Kehewin; brother: Elbert Ryan Morin; uncles: Darrell Bird, Clarence, Joseph, Stanley, Robin John; aunts: Carol Crier, Maxine Lightening, Marilyn Waskewitch; cousins: Nathan Rain, Kyle Rain, Vince Rain, Rydell Minde, Scott Brown, Trina Crier, Tanya Crier, Penny Morin, Jessica Morin, Shane Anthony Morin, Jewel-Lee, Ryan John, Katlin John, Jody John, Misty John, Xiute Kehewin.

2 day Wake, Tuesday, September 2 (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Bonnyville at 1:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Kehewin Community Education Centre.

Funeral Service, Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Kehewin Community Education  Centre with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin Cree Nation.
