It is with profound sadness that the family of Lloyd Skarsen announces his passing on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the age of 81 years.

Lloyd will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 60 years: Lynne;  3 daughters: Roxane Skarsen, Sherry Skarsen (Joe), Tammy Brown (David) all of Cold Lake; 6 grandchildren: Austin (Meghan), Kabrea (Fred), Alysha (Ben), Jared (Shelby), Ethan, Isaac; 6 great grandchildren: Rylee, Brielle, Charley, Connor, Jayde, James; 3 brothers: Mervin (Gail) of Nanaimo, Jerry of Cold Lake, Elden of Ardmore; sister: Cheryl Hobbs of Crane Lake; bonus brother: Mike Yarmey (Joan) of Edmonton; as well as numerous extended family & friends.

Lloyd was predeceased by his grandson: Tyler White (2024); 2 great grandsons: Jaxson White (2019), baby Tyler White (2025); parents: Melvin & Irene Skarsen; mother & father in law: Harvey & Elsie Johnson.

Service of Remembrance: Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., Riverhurst Community Hall with inurnment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Cold Lake.

Memorial tributes in memory of Lloyd may be sent to Haying in the 30’s.
