ELANIK, Brenda

January 18, 1960 – July 11, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that the Elanik family announce the passing of their beloved sister, auntie, and great-aunt “Nene” at the age of 65 years. Brenda will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and the community she so generously supported. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, humour, and a little bit of mischief.

Brenda will be forever loved by her sister, Belvia (Gordon) Wrobel, her brother, Bradley (Lori) Elanik, sister-in-law, Sandy Elanik, 3 nieces; Tryna (Sonny) Petruniak, Karissa (Scott) Anderson, and Erin Livingston, 3 nephews; Levi (Leslie) Elanik, Brett Elanik, and Colby (Jen) Wrobel, 12 great nieces and nephews; Parker, Brianna, Kolt, Gavin, Lorin, Avery, Vayda, Ella, Eva, Kennedy, Easton, and Penny. Brenda will be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents; Mike (2004) and Eileen (2014) Elanik, her brother; Bruce Elanik (2006), maternal grandparents; Yeels and Nina Kryzanowski, and her paternal grandparents; John and Helen Elanik.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be announced closer to the fall of 2025.
