FRASER, Shawn

March 10, 1970 – June 24, 2025

It is with profound sadness that the family of Shawn Cameron Fraser of Ardmore announces his passing at the age of 55 years.

Shawn will forever by cherished by his wife, Chantel Chatel, his step daughter, Brooke Wood, 2 sisters; Brenda (Claude) Hebert and Colleen Fraser, brother in law; Ray Hudson, and his nieces and nephews; Bradley, Ashley (Ryan), Kristen (Aaron), Gerry, Erin (Derrick), and Catherine. Shawn was predeceased by his parents; Roseann (2010) and Bob (2022) Fraser, his sister; Joan Fraser-Hudson (2013) and his brother; Stephen Fraser (2024).  The sun rose high, the birds are singing and you are not here. You were always a message away. We are not sure how we will navigate this life without you. You were our light when we needed a laugh, you were our quiet when we needed a friend, and you were our “Force” when we needed help. Any hour, any day, any place. Your knowledge of all things, your compassion for all will never be replaced. Your infectious laugh will sound through this life forever. Your spontaneous wit has surpassed all, your pranks have made history. So Shawn we will hear your laugh in every sunrise, we will hum your tunes when the birds are singing, we will tell our “Shawn” stories over and over and laugh and laugh.

You are forever in our minds and in our hearts.
