On Monday, June 9, 2025, Anita “Annie” Morgan Janvier unexpectedly passed away at the age of 34 years.

Anita will be forever remembered and loved by her four children: Gabrielle Skani, Jerome Skani, Eli Skani, Alexander Skani; mom: Patricia Janvier; dad: Allan Scanie; siblings: Colette Janvier, Brittany Janvier, Breanna Janvier, Brina Janvier,  Marvin Janvier, Brant McCallum, Braeden McCallum; nephew: Logan Janvier.

Anita was predeceased by her mother: Gabrielle Janvier; father: Roger Billette; brother: Justin Scanie; maternal grandmother: Noreen Janvier; maternal grandfather: Marvin Scanie; paternal grandmother: Josephine Billette; paternal grandfather: Norbert Billette.

A wake will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 19 & 20, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at House #190, Cold Lake First Nations #149 at Patricia Janvier’s residence. Traditional ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at House #190, Cold Lake First Nations #149 at Patricia Janvier’s residence. Interment will take place at Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery
