DISTERHEFT, Darlene Colleen

April 4, 1944 – May 31, 2025

 

On Saturday, May 31, 2025 Mrs. Darlene Disterheft of Cold Lake formerly of Fort Vermilion passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years.

Darlene will be lovingly remembered by husband Wayne Disterheft, her 4 children; Shane Courtoreille, Valerie (Clare) Omerod, Kelly Cyre, and Darcy (Angela) Courtoreille; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings: Graham (Cecilia) Courtoreille, Shirley (Alan) Higa, Alice (Gerald) Finley, Beverly Courtoreille, and Kelvin (Francine) Courtoreille.

Darlene was predeceased by her husband: August Collins; son: Calvin Courtoreille; siblings: Diane Breland, Donna Courtoreille, Bernice Giroux, Lloyd Courtoreille, Johnny Courtoreille, Kenny Courtoreille , Dennis Courtoreille, and Walter Courtoreille.

Wake will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Métis Settlement (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m.).

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 11:00 a.m. at Elizabeth Métis Settlement.
