It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leah Christine Jacknife-Cardinal announce her passing on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Elizabeth Métis Settlement at the age of 23 years.

Leah will be forever loved by her parents: Sonia Jacknife and Jason Cardinal, her 2 siblings: Jared Jacknife and Alyx Cardinal, her paternal grandmother: Christine Cardinal, her nieces, nephews, and sister siblings: Natalie Thomas, Daniel Jacknife, Monica Jacknife, Laney Jacknife, Ariel Jacknife, Anthia Collins, and Elsie Collins, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Leah was predeceased by her brother: Erryk Cardinal, her maternal grandparents: Norman and Clara Jacknife, and her paternal grandfather: Edward Cardinal.

Wake: Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25, 2025 (Leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville at 2:00 p.m.) Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall.

Funeral Service: Monday, May 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall, with cremation following the funeral service.
