With memories to hold dear for a life well lived, the family of Millie Bender announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the age of 92 years.

Emly Angelika “Millie” Bender will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Dianne (Ken Scutchings of Edson, Alberta and her son: Clary (Twylla) Johnson of Pierceland, Saskatchewan, 7 grandchildren: Don, Dwayne, Robin, Tanya, Dane, Brock, and Nicole, 12 great grandchildren: Shania, Landin, Samantha, Matthew, Kaeli, Logan, Tyler, Tarin, Daxley, Marley, Taten, and Radley, 2 great-great grandchildren: Mason and Lydia, 2 sisters: Jean Johnson and Rose Gonie, and her son-in-law: Bill Starkewski.

Millie was predeceased by her son: Gary Johnson, her daughter: Peggy Johnson, and her parents: John and Elizabeth Bender, and numerous siblings.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Millie’s life will be held at the Pierceland Senior’s Hall, Pierceland, Saskatchewan on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., with interment at the Pierceland Community Cemetery.
