On Thursday, September 28, 2017 Mrs. Karen Michele Paskiman-Horse of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 49 years. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband; Simon Horse, children; Fraser White, Shaylene Paskimin, Janelle White and Janna Thunderchild-Horse, grandchildren; Grey Berland, Ariel Lennie, Leah Bear, Logan Bear, Landon Paskimin, Darious Chief, Kaelyn-Jade Paskimin, Mathias McGillis, Mataya McGillis and Elara Horse-Thunderchild and her siblings; Pauline (Doug) Standingrock, Velma Peyachew, Linda Opwam, Shirley (Lance) Whitecalf, Calvin (Gloria) Paskimin, Joyce (Percy) Meetoos and Holly (Hicham) White-Elguareh. Karen was predeceased by her mother; Mary Rose Paskiman, siblings; Jack Paskimin, Vivian Peyachew, John Paskimin and Arthur Peyachew.
Wake on Monday and Tuesday, October 2 and 3, 2017 at the Norman C. Quinney Centre, Frog Lake, Alberta. Funeral service Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman C. Quinney Centre. Interment at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery, Frog Lake.
