Obituary For BLAIS, Harvey August 26, 1920 – January 6, 2010 On Wednesday, January 6, 2010 Mr. Harvey Blais of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 89 years. Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Mrs. Marie Blais of Bonnyville, his sisters, Terry (Philip) Coulombe of Armstrong, BC and Laura Marcoux of Quesnel, BC, his brothers, Albert (Martha) Blais of Edmonton and Andy (Emilia) Blais of Edmonton and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Harvey was predeceased by his parents Clarena and Theodore Blais and his sisters, Germaine Blais and Cecile Marcoux. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Parish, Bonnyville with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Holy Family Cemetery, Bonnyville with the Royal Canadian Legion #183 as honourary pallbearers and Harold Waskiewich, Russell Waskiewich, Gary Callihoo, Arthur Blais, Raymond Malyk and Raymond Blais as pallbearers. Memorial tributes in memory of Harvey may be made to Haying in the 30’s, Box 35 Mallaig, AB, T0A 2K0 or a charity of one’s choice.
