Obituary For LLOYD GEORGE BATEMAN May 3, 1923 – November 23, 2009 To Dad Across the world’s of space and land I stretched to you a loving hand, In my thoughts that for you yearn. I feel clasp mine in return. On Monday, November 23, 2009 Mr. Lloyd G. Bateman of Bonnyville, AB formerly of Powell River, passed away at the age of 86 years. Lloyd will be sadly missed by his sons; Brad (Simonne Vachon) Bateman of Bonnyville, Todd (Leta) Bateman of Bonnyville, step son Glen Kurtz of Spain, grandchildren Brianne Bateman of Edmonton, Sheena Bateman of Edmonton, Geoff Bateman of Vancouver and Matthew Bateman of Bonnyville, one great granddaughter Chloe Craig of Edmonton. Lloyd was predeceased by his first wife Mary Bateman, second wife Barbara Bateman and his sister Laura Bodlack. A tribute of Lloyd’s life will be held at a later date in Powell River, BC.
