On Thursday, July 23, 2009 Bernhard passed away at the age of 63 years. Bernhard will be sadly missed by his loving wife Shirley Klassen of Anzac, AB; sons: Alex and Noah Klassen of Anzac, AB; brother: Diedrich Jr. (Carrie) of Richmond, BC; sisters: Mary (Mike) Gregorash of Shilo, MB; Agnes Walton of Stienbach, MB; Betty Greisbrecht of Winnipeg, MB; Susie (Don) Snyder of Winnipeg, MB; his American son: Adam Allan of Montana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Bernhard was predeceased by his parents Diedrich & Susie Klassen. A wake was held Tuesday July 28, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Willow Lake Baptist Church in Anzac, AB. A Funeral Service was held Wednesday July 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Willow Lake Baptist Church in Anzac. AB with pastor Adam Allen officiating. Pallbearers were: Brian Kuefler, Ron Kreutzer, Denis Theriault, Shawn Theriault, Jonathan Ebersbach, & Billy Jensen. Honorary Pallbearers were: Les Nelson, Wayne Larson, George Britton, Johnny Frazer, & Larry Nelson.
