Obituary For Deborah Desjarlais October 29, 1964 – June 30, 2009 On Tuesday, June 30, 2009 Deborah Desjarlais Of Vancouver, B.C. passed away at the age of 44 years. Deborah will be sadly missed by her long time friend: Joseph Calderwood; father Joseph Desjarlais; brothers: Archie (Linda) Desjarlais of East Prairie, Henry Desjarlais of Kehewin, Wilmar (Marlene) Desjarlais of Buffalo Lake, Peter (Janet) Desjarlais of Hobbema, Kenny Desjarlais of Buffalo Lake: sisters Joyce (Ray) Bruneau of Edmonton, Margaret Desjarlais of East Prairie, Gloria (Archie) Desjarlais of East Prairie, Lorraine (Randy) Willier of Chilliwack, B.C, Shirley (Ron) Newfield of Edmonton, Evelyn (Paul) Carifelle of Peavine, Brenda ( Dean Sr.) Howse of Buffalo Lake, Delores (Brian) Supernault – Desjarlais of East Prairie, Corrine (Isaac) Bruno-Desjarlais. As well as Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Deborah was predeceased by her mother: Maryann Desjarlais; brother: Francis Desjarlais; niece: Samantha Desjarlais; grandniece: Erica Desjarlais; maternal grandparents: Jimmy and Mary John; paternal grandparents: James & Louise Desjarlais. A wake was held on Wednesday and Thursday July 8 and 9th, 2009 at Kehewin First Nations. Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at Kehewin First Nations with Reverend Raymond Sparklingeyes and Reverened Bill Jackson officiating. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin Alberta with pallbearers Justin Desjarlais, Dean Howse Jr., Jordon Desjarlais, Robert Hamilton, Calvin Bruneau, Kyle Desjarlais, Levi Desjarlais and Clint Desjarlais. Honourary pallbearers were: Archie Desjarlais, Lorrain Desjarlais, Henry Desjarlais, Shirley Newfield, Wilmar Desjarlais, Brenda Howse, Peter Desjarlais, Evelyn Carifelle, Ken Desjarlais, Delores Desjarlais, Margaret Desjarlais, Corrine Desjarlais, Gloria Desjarlais, Brad Desjarlais, Joyce Bruneau, John Calderwood.
