On Saturday, January 21, 2017 Ian Brent Janvier of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 33 years. Ian will be remembered by his spouse; Katelyn Grandbois, his daughter’s Kadian, Israel, Kai Li and Octavia Janvier, step son; Isaac Grandbois, his mother; Christine Janvier, brother; Elliot Janvier, step brother; Robert Martial and his paternal grandfather; Jobby Metchewais. Ian was predeceased by his father; Clifford Metchewais, his maternal grandparents; Hillaire and Angeline Janvier, and his paternal grandmother; Martha Metchewais.
Wake on Thursday and Friday, January 26 & 27, 2017 at the Band Hall, Cold Lake First Nations. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations. Interment at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
