On Tuesday, December 27, 2016, Miss. Teila Jean Grandbois of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 29 years. Teila will be remembered by her daughters; Kymia, Grace and Kiara Jo, her mother; Harriet Wallace Grandbois, father; Brian Grandbois; her siblings; Tyroan (Sylvia) Wallace, Tanis (Mitch) Thevarge, Tall Grandbois, Thunder Grandbois, Talon Grandbois, Tupac Grandbois and Sandra Olsen. Teila was predeceased by her maternal grandparents; Harry Wallace and Evangeline Dan and her paternal grandparents; Maurice Grandbois and Wilhelmina Ennow.
A wake was held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the E-Bay Centre, Cold Lake First Nations 149b. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 12:00 noon at St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic Church, Elizabeth Métis Settlement. Interment followed at the Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Cemetery.
